Declaratives Empty Declaratives

On page 97 it explains that declarative sentences are statements that convey referential information. I understand the examples when I read them, but when I try to think of another example for this type of sentence I can't think of one.

Can I have another example for this type of sentence please. I just need a way to make it easier for me to identify that type of sentence.

As long as you are not using any non manual signals when signing, the statement will be delivered as a declarative statement. For example, when signing homework finish you could sign it as a question by raising your eye brows but if you sign it without changing any facial expression it is declarative.
